Our 2010 Frederick has aromas of dark fruit, plum and rose petal and complex flavors of licorice and fresh ripe summer berries with a long, soft finish.

The Merlot fruit was rich and soft while the Cabernet Franc expressed complexity and floral components. The nose is terroir driven expressing wheat, hay, crushed basalt and underlying summer fruits. The palate is extremely rich and soft with notes of cassis, cherry, blueberry and hints of exotic fruits.

The nose is packed with ripe strawberry, raspberry and cherry fruit as well as a lot of floral undertones. The structure of this wine is abundant with juicy, velvety tannins.

The 2011 Derby has a very aromatic nose focused on rose petals, peppers and herbal notes. The palate is bright with strawberry and hints of vanilla and cinnamon.

Our 2012 Frederick has aromas of licorice, fresh herbs and flowers. On the palate, the dark fruit flavors are punctuated by the quality tannic structure which ends in a long, luxurious finish.

This unique Syrah was fermented with 75% whole clusters and 50% of the fruit came from old vines. It has spicy notes, a silky texture and a long finish.
