2008 Katherine Corkrum Cabernet Franc
An ultra-complex and earthy nose of wheat, hay, tobacco leaf, herbs, black pepper, wet dirt and violet, followed by solid structure and plenty of summer fresh berries, cherry liquor, and peppery perfume in the mouth. Tannins are soft and fine-grained, and the finish is lush with caramel and butter toffee notes.

2009 Frederick Red Wine
The 2009 Frederick opens with concentrated aromas of blackberry and peppercorn on the nose, leading into a big, rich palate of dark fruits and balanced tannins that will age with style. The finish is a lingering burst of dark chocolate and caramel notes.
