Favorites Three-Bottle Set
The names given to Spring Valley Vineyard wines are a tribute to the family members who have succeeded in farming the same land where the vineyard and winery now flourish.
This trio from the Walla Walla Valley is perfect for holiday gifting. Better yet, get one for yourself too. You deserve it.
2017 Derby Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine represents the marriage of Shari Corkrum and Dean Derby and brings the Derby heritage to the Spring Valley wines.
TASTING NOTES: The nose is focused on red summer berry with a touch of rose petal and cedar. The mid-palate is generous and has seamless tannins.
2017 Uriah Red Wine Blend
Uriah was the grandfather of Shari Corkrum Derby. Born in Walla Walla in 1866, he began farming on his own during the 1880s.
TASTING NOTES: Packed with black cherry flavors. The mid-palate is focused on fine grained tannins and the finish is seamless.
2017 Nina Lee Syrah
This 100% Syrah is named for the wife of Frederick Corkrum. After meeting following her vaudeville performance at a local theater, they married in 1929.
TASTING NOTES: The 2017 Nina Lee Syrah is primarily a blend of the original block of Syrah planted in 1998 and the ‘Steep Hill’ Vineyard block. The fruit was picked with 30% whole cluster with 2% being Viognier. The wine is very refined and delicate.
