Falstaff Magazine (Germany) 2007 Nina Lee Syrah Walla Walla Valley

Powerful nose of black cherries and mocha. Substantial and full-bodied,has power, but the necessary balance, with a ripe, jammy but not fruit and well-slung wood, good length. 01/01/2012

“Daily Wine Pick” - Wine Spectator 2008 Frederick Red Blend Walla Walla Valley

Dense and juicy, this is packed with disarmingly delicious currant, plum, roasted meat and mineral flavors, and when the finish kicks in this shows elegance and finesse. Offers power and personality, with deft balance. (scored 93 points 12/15/2011) 12/20/2011

KensWineGuide.com 2008 Uriah Red Blend Walla Walla Valley

This impressive opaque and dark ruby colored blend opens with a very fragrant black currant bouquet with a hint of black raspberry, oak and old leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with notes of gentle oak and a touch of black olive and black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are manageable, yet sticky. I really liked this wine and I would pair it with Veal Osso Bucco. Enjoy 12/16/2011
