87 points - International Wine Cellar 2009 Katherine Corkrum Cabernet Franc Walla Walla Valley
Moderately saturated ruby-red. Briary red berries and licorice on the nose, with a hint of strawberry liqueur emerging with air. Fat, sweet and creamy, offering plenty of size and alcoholic clout but in need of more shape and lift. Finishes with substantial building tannins and a bit of heat. 12/01/2012
90 points - International Wine Cellar 2009 Nina Lee Syrah Walla Walla Valley
Blueberry, licorice and violet on the nose. Dense, sweet and concentrated, with generous dark berry, pepper and saline flavors given shape and clarity by ripe acidity. Plenty of extract here. I find this a bit brighter and more delineated than this producer's 2009 reds from Bordeaux varieties. 12/01/2012

Starts out very locked up with red raspberries, rose hips, herbal notes, ripe cherries, and barrel notes. The palate is ripe and tightly wound with rich fruit flavors and firm tannins. Give one to two years or decant. 11/26/2012
